We like to think about Biometric values as "WellMetrics" because we believe that looking at things with a positive spin usually makes you feel better about it all. WellMetrics are important measures of a person’s health status, and are a key component of a holistic well-being program. Keeping track of your stats is helpful to identify risk factors, create a more personalized program, set and reach personal goals, and to track and improve your health.
There are multiple ways to earn Points for tracking your results in your wellness program. The amount of Points for each reward and how often you can earn it is specific to your company, so for the most accurate list of rewards available for biometrics, check out either the MENU > POINTS page or the MY POINTS page on your member website.
- Self Entered Measurements: On your member website you will have the option to self report your stats in the Personal Settings. To get there click on your personal icon located in the upper right corner, click on Settings, then scroll to the bottom of the page to the Biometrics section. Most programs do not incentivize for self-reported values, however read through your program rules to see if you are the exception. Please note, if you also take a validated measurement within the year, these results will overwrite your self-reported values. If points are awarded for self-reported AND validated results, you will only earn points for one...not both.
- Validated Measurements: You have a few options, depending on what elections your company has made. Click on the KNOW YOUR NUMBERS or COMPLETE HEALTH SCREENING tile for more information on what is available to you.
- Ideal or Improved your Metrics: Many programs have designed their program to award you as your progress or meet certain health standards. Click on the KNOW YOUR NUMBERS or COMPLETE HEALTH SCREENING tile for more information on what is available to you. To review what you might have already been credited for on your member website log in, click on MY POINTS > BROWSE REWARDS and scroll down to see the "YOUR HEALTHY MEASURES" section.
