When you arrive at the screening event, you'll be greeted in by an ADURO representative and assigned a scorecard to record your results. These scorecards have no identifiable information on them and comply with all HIPPA guidelines. If you do not have an appointment we will do our best to get you screened if time allows. Your eligibility can be verified at check-in, and you will complete a consent form onsite.
Once checked in, you will be directed to a screening station, where a medical professional will conduct a simple finger stick and run a glucose and lipid panel. While your blood is being tested (tests take about 7 minutes), the Screener will take you to a separate station behind a privacy screen to measure your height, weight and waist circumference. Finally, the Screener will measure your pulse and blood pressure and record all results on your scorecard and in the tablet.
The health coaches at the concierge station are medical professionals who can review scores and values with you. Coaches will explain the healthy ranges and can inform you of opportunities within the wellness program and encourage next steps for you. They can also answer and address basic frequently asked questions.
All results are recorded on the scorecard as well as on the ADURO tablet web app. To ensure privacy, no numbers will be said out loud. Within 1 hour of completing their screening, you will be able to view your results in their wellness program account under ‘My Results >> Health Risk’ from your web platform or in the ADURO mobile app.
